Energy imports. Rather a huge chunk of our national expenditures are to people who don’t like us a whole lot. We have options. Aside from the alternative fuels/seriously space age shit we will eventually need, we have the resources right here at home to hold us until we develop them!

Remember all that babble about “10 years to get online”? That was 30 years or more ago. Which means we funded those who attacked us, by the hand of the D Congress of the time. And, if you get right down to it, the R Congress we had for a while. We could have cut the Middle East, Venezuela, all of them off at the knees 20+ years ago.
