    Or to marvel at the degradation of the leader of the once most powerful nation on Earth. If we were barbarians, if we were “The Great Satan”, no one on this planet could stop us from taking it if we wanted it, whatever it happened to be. I’m beginning to think that sounds pretty good, actually.

    If that wasn’t so accurate as to what his actions really were and how they were perceived by our enemies it wouldn’t be such “tragic humor”… but I did laugh when I saw it!!!

    True enough about the general behavioral perception. And it is exactly what I saw in the whole thing. The “world likes us more now”. Especially our enemies, from less fear of the potential response WHEN they attack again.
