Let’s go look at Jack Cafferty and his minions. There are actually a few good comebacks in the comments, but there’s all the “blood in the streets” bullshit as well. What is wrong with these people? Indeed, these are the sorts who should not have a ccw, if they think that automatically that’s the answer. Apparently they have no idea of the truth wherein “an armed society is a polite society”.
Most, I’m sure some will break the law but MOST, ccw holders will obey the restriction. 99.99999% got the license so they could be legally armed, and they follow that law to the letter. The left thinks that if 1 in a half a million may misbehave, no-one should be allowed the chance. Shame they’re so weak.

How many crimes have been stopped by a legally armed citizen? A citizen that was on scene when some shit went down, and were able to stop a crime.
How many criminals were legally carrying a licensed concealed weapon? None?
If the law says you can go to a restaurant that serves alcohol, or you are the designated driver for the evening, and the law says you can carry if you don’t drink, you won’t drink. And anyone who does drink where restricted should immediately lose their license. But it’s not the governments place to tell me I can’t. Only their place to punish me if I get stupid with my gun.
What steams me, is that the GFW’s, if they were totally honest about it, don’t believe that gun owners are vigilantes and crazies. They know damn well that we’re honest law abiding people that are, in alot of cases, safer with our firearms that alot of cops. They know it, and they use that against us, by forcing more inane laws that tie our hands, because we are law abiding…even when those laws take away some of our freedoms. They just scream and wring their hands for the cameras to make those idiots too stupid to know the difference sympathetic to their cause. Funny how they scream we’re all crazy, but they sure feel safe trying to make our lives less safe and less free.
I damn sure hope I never have to defend one of those idiots. I’d be hard pressed to decide whether to protect them or just let them fend for their unarmed selves. Then we’ll see how dangerous they think we nasty gun owners are.
Well, over here the law is “Don’t fire unless you MUST” basically. Your statement is true though, “why bother, it’s their own damn fault”. If their life meant anything to them, they’d have gotten some form of defense.

The question should be “Is it a good idea to allow guns anywhere”, and the answer, of course is “NO”. The US Second Amendment is a totally outdated concept and a joke in the modern world . Guns in 1776 were one thing…modern weapons is another.

Well since my XD is out of commission (since it’s not HIS gun, M isn’t in a hurry to get her back to the factory) I’m carrying the Kimber. So that means my carry method requires the hammer down (because the safety can’t be counted on to stay on) but there’s a full mag and one in the pipe. I just have to remember to cock the hammer before I put my (as M is want to say) “booger hook on the bang switch”.
