Alzheimers is apparently pandemic in America.
Okay, let us start with Woodrow Wilson, and all the entitlement programs. Fast forward through Depressions large and small, through such as Jimmah Peanut and the Demoncrap Congress, to Reagan. And all the fixing he did to the economy, even with them holding him back as they did. We run through Bush 41, to “Slick Willie” and the Demoncrap band. The realization of “oh shit!” in the nation leading to the congressional overthrow of ’94, the sudden centrism of “SW”, and the maintenance of the balanced budget inherited from Ronaldus Maximus. With, unfortunately, no slowing of the spending that DC had become all too comfortable with in the recovery phase. By having cut income taxes, sales taxes were doing a marvelous job of rebuilding the government coffers.
BUT! Rather than keeping spending at least where it had been, those D’s and RINO’s were outnumbering the true conservative R’s. “Ooooo, looky! We gots money! Let’s enhance the dependency mentality of the proletariat!” But even with the country staying fairly balanced, unemployment low, despite 2 wars in full blitz, the country once again elects the NSDWP to power in both houses of congress. We start to get unbalanced financially. We start to get upside down economically, and we get debt. Massive debt.
Then they get even more power, both houses and the pResidency. 3 months later, our debt is DOUBLE, and growing. (Look back at the Cloward-Piven bits) Now that this has happened, what next? Okay, we elect a Conservative Congress, we get a new “contract with America”, we start fixing shit, we get better, and just as we did with “SW” we re-elect the commie in the White House because, well, “Things did get better with him in the big chair”. We putter along getting better for a while, and we repeat “TEH STOOOPID™”.
What the fuck is wrong with us? Do we learn nothing? Sorry y’all, I have never voted to the left, never voted on feeeeeelings, only, for the last 33 years, voted on practical, conservative, financially astute, history of any candidate. The closest thing to a fuck-up I’ve done was Perot, because he supposedly knew how business worked. I was under the belief that anyone who could do business as well as he had must know how to balance the scales, or at least maintain a profit margin. Then, it turns out, that despite his business acumen, at heart he’s a liberal as regards people, so he gives his electoral votes to the upcoming socialist, coke snorting, womanizer.
NOW we deal with the most unpopular Congress in history, with a fascist muslim in the drivers seat. And we watch our national debt go insane. Absolutely monkey-fucking-a-football insane. Will we learn, or will we repeat the cycle?
Want a history lesson, displaying this obvious Alzheimers Pandemic? This is just the current administration and the last 4-5 administrations prior. The entire DC clusterfuck.
Now, in 2010, we will most probably shift the Congress back to Conservative by and large. The one thing I will ask is that, THIS time, just remember for 2 more years that the entire fucked up thing came at the hands of a D Congress and a D TOTUS. It will not be instant this year, but it can be a start. It can hit the nitrous in 2012, and close the waste gate on the turbo in 2014.
And then, by all that’s Holy to you in whatever fashion, DON’T LET THE NEXT GENERATION FORGET!
I hope my thought train was clear today. Check the record if there is one. Flush the incumbents, get fiscally conservative personnel, good sound business people, not soppy liberal shits into the halls of power. And don’t let down the watch, hold their feet to the fire, remind them who they serve, and what they must do. If you have a chance, ask them in a Town Hall how they see the reality of the “Laffer Curve”, what they think are truly the most important things in life. If it’s not AMERICA, and the truth of the Founding Fathers dream of this great nation, and getting this country’s books fixed, and teaching our children the TRUTH instead of bullshit, fuck them, boot them to the curb.
Yes, for education we need math, we need science, and we need history. Cold, straight up, as it happened, history. Good, bad, ugly, all the things that really happened. No more PCBS, no twisting the reasons, just the facts. No more grading on the curve, no more ribbons for everybody, none of it. This is the level of knowledge you are required. These are the levels that must be attained. If you are smart enough, you will achieve them and go on to great things. If you do not, you can pump gas or plow fields. If you did not win, you lost.
Chew on that, see how it tastes. Certain things must present a bitter flavor, simple fact. This makes those things in life which are sweet all the sweeter.

There are some bright spots. The tea party “movement” seems to be striking a responsive cord all across America. And it is producing, if only by association and not out and out sponsorship, some viable candidates. (in this case, at the State, vice federal level, but that’s a start … and then there is Brown in Mass, admittedly more of a RINO, but for Mass. this was a sea change of sorts)
I don’t think the whole country has slipped into a state of dementia, but you are quite correct that this is coming if we don’t all wake up, and wake up soon. I still, barely, hold out hope for the coming mid-term elections this November. After that, all bets are off.
“I don’t think the whole country has slipped into a state of dementia…”
The majority of American citizens have not reached that point, nor do I think that will ever happen. Conservative or liberal, most people are able to think and want what they think is best for themselves, their families and their country. The problem is that there are a few right ways and a lot of wrong ways to do that, and that’s where we butt heads.
So far as dementia is concerned, that seems to be the problem of the extremists, including many of the ones who have managed to get themselves elected to positions of power. The good news is that it has become very obvious that they are delusional. Joe Citizen is able to see it, hear it, not like it, and are working on generally peaceful means to stop it. Things like the Tea Party movement are a means to that end of stopping the demented ones before they do real, irreversible damage.
That irreversibility rapidly approaches. We’ve GOT to fix this shit or we’re toast.
The electorate is largely ingorant thanks to the teacher’s unions running our public schools, and deliberately uninformed / misinformed thanks to the liberal media. Both courtesy of the Democrat party. Coincidence? I think not.
I would suppose that they feel if they program them from first blush of knowledge intake, and keep feeding them the horseshit as they get older, that it will take deep root. Know a few of those young ‘droids myself. But if YOU start them before the schools brainwashing program starts, if YOU feed them the truth when they get home, if YOU show them more than they get in school, spend time with them, talk to them, they will grow up to know the truth.
