But I just got off a very tiring 12. As I was unwinding, my son had Colbert on, talking about the “social justice” and how the Church was for it.
What they missed was the difference between giving from the goodness of your heart, and having it forcibly taken from you by the government for “redistribution” as they see fit. Why can’t they understand that simple difference?

Look, we all know some animals are more equal than others, right? Well, the most equal animals are so much wiser than the rest of us that they just naturally know what we should do and they think it’s their right and responsibility to make sure we do it. Simple, isn’t it?
Roughly 2 years and 10 months to go, will we make it?
7 months and 4 days until the potential handicap ability is enabled. Nay, if we get Super Majority level we reverse it. Just keep the voters reminded who did this reversing.
First off, Colbert is a little prick.
Second off, they DO know the difference.
Third off, if they DID differentiate, they would have to call it by their actual terms: charitable giving versus income redistribution.
And they can’t have that.
