Neil Braithwaite of North Carolina has written a BRILLIANT article. He’s saying what well over 65% of Americans have polled, and spoken themselves. Many, many of us “VRWC” have written the same, but the construction of this one caught my eye solidly.
Don’t even know what to clip as a teaser, so I’ll just say go read it.
Okay, I’ll take the first two paragraphs:
Without a hint of hesitation after Arizona passed their new immigration
law, President Obama immediately condemned our 48th State by calling Arizona’s new immigration law misdirected, troubling, and potentially discriminatory. What followed was an onslaught of protests and proposed boycotts against Arizona from New York to Los Angles filled with allegations of hate and racism over their new immigration law. So the question that remains is; by standing idly by while all this is taking place, is President Obama, in essence, encouraging harm against the very country that he swore an oath to protect?
A reading of the United StatesConstitution, Article IV section 4 should leave no doubt as to the President’s duty and obligation to each and every state in the union: “The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.”
I’ll leave it to you from there, but it really is a worthwhile read.

The only quibble I might have with Mr Braithwaite is his assumption that Obama actually feels he is even one of us. His loyalty is not and never has been to this country as it has been traditionally constituted. He feels no duty to be bound by constitional strictures because he fundamentally disagrees with concept of limitations on his vision. That would be the vision of the international elitists who feel it is their duty to guide us benighted neandrathals.
As I have said previously and have been hearing in other quarter’s including from more cautious types like Bill Bennett, he rules as if he is not of us.
While he mentions treason, one thing is for sure, PUS is certainly derelict in his duty to protect the territorial integrity of the US by openly refusing to enforce the border, immigration and preventing any one else from doing so.
High crimes, anyone? It’s a shame that impeachment is a politcal remedy and not a judicial one.
Otherwise his analysis is spot on.
Oh, indeed. Why do you think I no longer use the “Treasonous Pig” tag? He’s not one of us, he’s not a citizen. I truly think not, but I can’t prove it. By that point, he can’t be tried for treason. Subversion, espionage yes.
I advance the notion he is “not of us” everywhere I comment and like I said, that thought is gaining some currency throughout the realm. I say it just that way and some time with the disclaimer”and I’m not talking about his birth certificate” so I can shoot down the “birther” tag right away.
I’m agnsotic on the birth certificate thing except for the fact that he has spent 2 million(or whatever) dollars to keep it hidden when he could have put it to rest by presentingt it. As you know there are other questions about his citizenship that may have more merit.
The only reason he is keeping the lid on his birth certificate(if it shows he was born here) is he may want to release it at a more politically advantageous time.
All”s I can say is that if it ever does come out that he wasn’t a citizen all hell will break loose on those who perpetutaed the scam.
Whether he was born stateside or not, he’s not American. All the arguments about Kenyan born, Indonesian raised/citizen through adoption, dual citizen through father, whatever, he grew up with people like “Uncle Frank”, and Bill Ayers, and so on and so forth. He’s NOT an American.
