And since we took a shot at GlowBullWormening,

12/30/2010

Here’s a couple more goodies I found last night at work.Good huh! From Dr. Tim Ball, we have some interesting ACTUAL historic record charts with all kinds of truey goodness, then we have Bob Parks talking about just exactly the level of madness the wormers continue to express.

From those couple of points, we see Alan Caruba speak of what We The People are obviously forced to do about all this silly bullshit.

The great issue of our times is the same great issue of the 1830s. The question is whether Congress can pass legislation or the President issue executive orders that are not authorized by or consistent with the Constitution?

The federal government is a republic composed of separate and sovereign republics.

What recourse do the States have individually and in combination when the central government acts in a fashion that is contrary to the limits and enumerated powers of the Constitution?

The answer, other than an appeal to the courts, is nullification. This term is defined as the assertion that States can and should refuse to enforce unconstitutional federal laws.

Will we? Have We The People had enough of this shit yet? Oh yes, as per usual this mans writing is stone cold ON!

And just because I found this item nifty, and couldn’t segue it properly because of completely different subject matter, I figured I’d just throw this in from the outfield and see if anyone catches it. Then again, there may be some use for said item if one really wants to stretch it a bit.

Sadly, now that the state governments are beholden to Washington for “revenue sharing,” “block grants,” “education assistance,” “highway funds,” and so forth, most state capitals would lack the will to defy the feds, even in the worst of cases.

Imagine New Jersey, for example, refusing to enforce any provision of the No Child Left Behind act or its successors. New Jersey’s revenues are in such terrible shape that the loss of federal funds could cause its government to collapse completely. From my standpoint, that wouldn’t be so terrible, but what matters more is how the oligarchs of New Jersey would see it.

There was always a larger, undiscussed point to the federal funding of state-level activities. Perhaps now it will come into better focus.

Crime, and bribery to quiet the victim. If NJ wasn’t so politically dirty, their funding would be far better. Be a place people want to live and work, voila!

The federal funding of highways (specifically, the interstates) has been a big club in the federal thuggary for at least the last 40-50 years now. It is interesting to note at least one state (and this was a few years back, it most likely has changed now) told them to pack sand when they tried to use that particular tactic on them. And that would have been Nevada. For the most part, their highways are in top shape, with little wear and tear do to the changing of the seasons or frozen precipitation causing them to break down. Thus, the state was more than able to keep up with the maintenance with no help from the feds. On the other hand, they have had Harry Reid in their midst, which assures the state will comply with any federal edict.

Then you have states like the one I have to hang my hat in. Illinois is a shining example of one which is truly corrupt at the federal, state, county, and local levels. Our roads are in a constant state of either being repaired or in dire need of same. Our elected officials need not worry about the feds using the with holding of “federal monies” (yeah, I know there is no such thing, just humor me) inorder to impose their will on the state. They are far more concerned about not being lubed properly or receiving a “reach around” from their federal overlords. (No, I am not cynical by nature, why do you ask?? *snort*)

Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

    John Adams

Does this regime strike you as either moral or religious?

Our government has always depended on good faith and a proper understanding of the principles involved in constructing it the way it was constructed. As long as we all were advancing from the same premise of all men as equals before the law all with the capacity to pursue his own way without deprecating someone else’s natural right and that government was not a sovereign but a guarantor of those rights things would be smooth and harmonious.

The advent of the “progressive” movement with it’s monomania about having a cognitive elite make decisions that are best left to what Burke described as “little platoons” has destroyed the fabric of this country by allowing these “moral” preeners to insult and debase any who dare challenge their demented vision. We have allowed them too often to paint us as villains all the while they rob and enslave us. We have to refute their claims and make it plain who the despoilers are… the proponents of the all powerful Leviathan state which presumes to own all power and wealth and through it’s self proclaimed magnanimity deign to throw you a few alms now and then.

This plus the advent of the “living” constitution canard has brought us to the brink of an administrative coup d’ etat by a cabal fronted by a glib puppet.

Obama and his junta sanctimoniously and assiduously violate the law of the land through chutzpah and brazen mendacity. They have no intention of being constrained by dead white men. It doesn’t matter that those dead white men were the best this or any country has ever produced their delusional conceit will never allow them to realize that they mistake their capacity for deceit to be intelligence.

The regime doesn’t care what they have to break(even if it’s you’re legs) what lie they have to tell, or what egregiously self evident graft they have to dole out in order to implement their most febrile plans of command and control. They do Machiavelli proud.

The current regulatory coup d’etat being committed by this gang of thieves should be the last shred of evidence that Obama is a lawless thug who thinks he is above such mere human constructs as the Law. But with a 4th estate which is in the employ of the ruling junta I don’t hold out much hope that this will be the prevailing vision.

As for the states actually doing something as drastic as nullification; too many of these hucksters are of the same mindset as the arrogant jackasses who rule us. They get the added advantage of foisting the blame off on a government that is so far removed from the initial mandate granted that the normal means of redress have become moot. They are servile pawns in the vast government machinery never once taking their constitutional duty seriously as they are bought and paid for… docile and pliant foot soldiers in an authoritarian army. They know who feeds them taxpayers be damned.

The opposing party has a significant portion which buys into the “government as solution” paradigm because they know that people have been dumbed down so much by popular media and academe that all they have to do is run out the list of goodies they have procured for these cattle, cattle who are more than willing to pick the pockets of their neighbors as long as their life gets easier and then they have the gall to complain this largess isn’t enough and that we are greedy for not wanting to elevate them to a level that you and I have to work for. The constituencies are as vile as the leaders they select.

It doesn’t matter what con they have to run from “global climate change” to “social justice” they steal from us and buy off enough people to pass their self serving policies and then call that “will of the people” or even more perversely “justice”. They are close to convincing a majority of people that 51% of the people can live off of the sweat and hard work of the other 49%. Currently about 40% pay no explicit federal income tax and the next 10% pay about 3% of the federal income tax. Make no mistake once this happens we will be as much a slave to the state as any African who was brought here except we will have been enslaved by those vile creatures who we thought were our countrymen and will have been subjugated for the pleasure of assuaging the egos and “moral” vanity of a vicious and vile “elite”.

The more subterfuge in which I see this viperous regime engage and the pathetically infantile and feckless response of the “opposition” party the more I think that the solutions we will not be in the realm of politics of philosophy.
