What if the federal government DID collapse, and areas divided into regions of similar thought patterns? Might look something like this:

    Hmm…

    Not bad, although, the very middle of the contiguous United States would be named “The Republic of Kansas”, and damn straight we would charge entrance/passage fees for anyone coming from any of the “lesser states.” :D

    After all, Kansas is the best damned state in the entire union.

    Okay, CF. Those of that can should all have such pride. Maybe if we did, we’d have a stronger United States of America, rather than this amalgam of lines run by a federal government.

    Only 10 miles east of me too! Shame of Texas not to grab about half of New Mexico, straight up from the western tip. That’s okay, I’ll take a job as a border guard.
