I’m pretty sure you’ve all seen it,
04/29/2011
But I’m going to put one up for the hell of it. You all know about the questions involved in the whole BC matter. And the various graphic artist that have disassembled this “marvelous new move on nothing to see here” document. This was but part 1 of 4. Some have much better eyes than I, and they see other details that, especially on line, I would have missed. There are those that can identify a certain typeset at a glance, and tell you what month that was created in which year and by what author. But one thing you can’t miss is pc terminology that did NOT exist at that time. Check it. I’m wiped, goodnight.

I just saw Atlas Shrugged today, FINALLY – no one but me understood it, but OMG what an amazing movie.
Sure,my daughter says “He’s a dick” and my husband says “He cheated on his wife!” – jesus H, don’t they GET IT? Well…no, they don’t. But I do.
FWIW neither is innocent in either area, so fuck them.
BC = Bull Crap. At the least, suspect. More likely, fraudulent.
What else can be expected?
The eventual implosion of “the bubble” is going to be fun to watch.
I just hope there’s something left of my country and way of life.
bongo’s birth certificate is as phony as he is and the only thing that would make me happy is to see bongo and his commie czars in orange jump suits waiting for old sparky to warm up.
Regarding “Atlas Shrugged”, many will not see what you saw Anniee. I see it, anybody who has not had the programming installed will see it. The whole principle of “This is mine, I worked for it, I will do with it as I see fit” doesn’t seem to be understood by those with the “government is good” program.
And this is America. Shit has happened here before. When we get this fixed, let us hope that we may pass this occasion to future generations so it doesn’t happen again.
Wow.
No, not “Wow” because I find your video to be an earth-shattering “proof” that Obama created a fraudulent birth certificate, but “wow” in the sense that there are people who must like the smell of their own farts enough to want to bottle and sell the fragrance.
The very second I saw the video talk about releasing the clipping mask to show layers on a PDF file in Illustrator, I knew that this guy has no real understanding about most Adobe products work, including Illustrator.
I had this long-winded explanation all typed out here, and was looking for a link, when I ran across this article on FOX News (as well as several others on sites such as NRO et el that not only explain it fully, but is from a site that you are more likely to believe than me.
The short version is that actual experts, and not those that play “experts” on You Tube, have come forward to show that the birth certificate is real.
This whole thing is really starting to make you look silly. It is time to let go and move on to something else to hate the guy for. This one has run its course. The man was born in the US, and therefore an American citizen eligible to be President of the United States.
Of course I have no real illusions that this Birther Bullshit will simply go away. Why would it? People are making money off of the gullible people who want to believe this crap. People want to believe it because they need to cling to some reason to hate the guy, and the idea of Obama not being eligible by virtue of birth is a pretty solid reason to hold onto.
The problem is, that it is no longer a valid one to hold onto.
Look, there is a plethora of good, legitimate reasons to dislike the guy. Try using those reasons. The simplest reasons are usually the best ones — you don’t agree with his positions. What more of a reason do you need? Do you have to hold onto some provably fake reasons to dislike or disapprove of the guy?
I, myself can find a number of reasons to disapprove of Obama, and ALL of them deal with position and performance. To me, that is the only reason to disapprove of the man. But unlike you, I don’t dislike the guy, any more than I disliked G W Bush. I just disapproved of the positions and the politics. For me it is easier that way.
Now you and I probably disagree as to WHAT IT IS we disapprove of Obama for. You might actually hate the guy. I find that hating a person is at the very least counterproductive and always consuming, if not just ugly.
Hate the actions, not the man. It is a good way to get through life with your sanity intact.
DJ: You misunderstand…I don’t hate the man, I hate the bullshit and the obfuscation. IF this is real and above board, why was it not released long ago? Why cause and allow so much angst and mistrust?
Right now, if it were high noon and my government told me the sun was up in the sky, I’d be inclined to step outside to check for myself.
Question. If I identify MY race as “American”, does that identify my ancestry? To identify Obama Sr.’s race as African smacks of a level of political correctness that did not exist in the ’60′s. Was it not “Negro” or “Black” in those days?
Not to pick a fight with you, Sir, but it still stinks to me. And thanks for your concern, but my sanity is just fine.
He DID put his birth certificate up there — in 2008. You just didn’t want to accept it. You assumed he was “hiding something”.
No other candidate has been required to do this before — until now. When he puts up the documentation that the State of Hawaii gave to him, you insisted on more. And more. It was never going to be enough with you people.
Frankly, it was none of your business anyways. That is what the courts have been telling you all along with these silly suits to pressure him into providing MORE information. NONE OF US HAVE THAT KIND OF STANDING.
Here is how silly you people have been. You make the assumption that the entire US government, its law enforcement agencies, its national security agencies, its intelligence agencies are not as bright as you the fringe element of our society who somehow thinks you know better. You listen to goofballs like James Farah of WND puff your gullible minds up into a marshmellow pie with this stupid shit. You buy this crap hook, line, and sinker when WND insists that Obama has spent $2 million to fight the release in court.
Here is a fucking clue for you: To date, Perkins Coie, the law firm that the Obama campaign hired to take care of winding down the post campaign issues has spent $2.6 million — NOT to deal with this birth certificate bullshit, but to do what every fucking candidate who has run for the office of the presidency has to do: wind down the post campaign issues. The McCain/Palin campaign has paid $1.3 million so far. Bush had to do it , Clinton had to do it, THEY ALL HAD TO DO IT!
But nooooo, people like you WANT the idea that Obama isn’t a citizen, or that he was born in Kenya, or that somehow by rearranging words and phrases in a law that he is ineligible to run for president because of his parentage. You WANT it to be true so badly that you will throw out common sense and go with the fuckwads whose only real agenda is to sell you books.
But you didn’t go out and check for yourself. You completely ignored what was told you and shown to you from the start. Like I said, you didn’t WANT to believe the official documentation. You STILL don’t. You will grasp at any straws you can to keep the fantasy alive, because you can’t seem to face the reality.
It all depends on the region you were in, I suppose. Remember, most inhabitants of Hawaii in the 1960s were brown people. They weren’t too hung up on “Negro” or “Black”. Besides, his father was from Africa, so that would have made him “African”. The British also referred to blacks as “African”, as did most other European countries.
And really, does it matter how they referred to his father’s origins? They chose to use “African”. It has been that way since 1961 when the original was filed. The PDF copy released by the White House is a certified photo copy of the original document located in Hawaii. The state official has certified it as a true document, just like the computer generated one released in 2008.
How would you know? It has been my experience that only sane people think they are crazy. It’s the crazy people who think they are sane.
“are not as bright as you the fringe element of our society”
Okay. You just lost me, dude. Big time. Fringe, my ass. I refuse to be led into believing that I am a “fringe element”. Kiss my butt.
You appear to be placing judgment on me for making a judgment of my own. As if you are the only one qualified to have an opinion. WTF?
“you didn’t WANT to believe the official documentation”
A certificate of live birth IS NOT a birth certificate. I could generate a genuine certificate of live birth for a litter of pups.
I want nothing more than to regain confidence in my government, and know that it is acting in the best interest of the country and her peoples. Right now, I just don’t see that.
Sadly, I think the kids will be dealing with this mess for some time to come, and long after I’m gone.
Go stir someone else’s pot. I’m done with you.
The “fringe” never considers themselves on the fringe. But the facts are the facts — you are in a distinct minority when it comes to this particular topic, and it is shrinking by the day.
When confronted with the indisputable facts, you choose to continue to dispute them. After a while, a person has to come to the conclusion that there isn’t going to be ANY facts that will sway you from what you want to believe. For you, up is down, and sideways straight ahead.
I remember I asked the question over at Misha’s site about a year ago on this very topic — What if Obama did release the long form original? Would that satisfy people? I was told then that yes, it would satisfy them. I told them then that it really didn’t matter if Obama released it or not, people like you would never accept it. I was correct. You’ll keep challenging the facts, and keep moving the goal posts long after the rest of the world has accepted the facts.
Besides, this is LONG past the time of having an opinion on the matter. It is you who wants to have your own personal set of facts. Sorry, there are only one set, and they have been put out there. Anything else is nothing more than a fantasy, and mumbling it over and over again to yourself will not magically change it into a fact.
You’ve GOT to quit reading WND or listening to Orly Tate. It is going to rot your mind. Pay close attention here, will you?
The first document produced in 2008 was a Certification of Live Birth. In Hawaii, it is considered to be the “short form”. The documentation released the other day was the Certificate of Live Birth otherwise known as the “long form”. Both are considered to be “primary documents” and both carry the same force of law.
According to the Department of Hawaiian Homelands:
You will never regain that confidence if you continue to refute everything it says and does. The question is who gets to decide the “best interest” issues? Just you or do you allow the majority to have a say?
Its funny, every generation seems to have said the same thing.
Oy…
Be that as it may, we have NEVER faced debt such as this. Oh, we’ve had recessions and depressions, but did you ever look at the “Roaring 20′s”? We were in an engineered recession, but we kept taxes low, partied our asses off, and recovered. That wasn’t enough, so the “Great Depression” was engineered. We have since tried to figure ways around such, but the engineers of today have programmed the youth not to remember the lessons learned.
I’ve got a few more that might make you think…nah, probably not. You really want to believe in this thing, don’t you? We’re nowhere near the minority, Deej. How is it that a man as bright as yourself can’t see the truth? Or is it that you believe in that program, if we’ll only give it a chance?
Now there is a topic changer. But OK…
It is funny how you suddenly get this indignant about debt and deficits. Where have you been for the past thirty years when presidents like Reagan and Bush borrowed and spent money like drunken sailors?
Democrats tend to tax and spend. Since Reagan, Republicans borrow and spend. You don’t feel the heat that way. It is the “Two Santa Claus Theory”. If you have a few moments, I strongly suggest you check it out. Read up on Jude Wanniski. This is exactly the blueprint Republicans have been following since Reagan, with the intended results of bankrupting the US government by running up the debt and spending it to death.
We have arrived.
So while you sit there and want to blame Obama for us being $14 Trillion in debt, take a close look at where the majority of that debt came from. The same goes for the budget deficit. Where were you throughout the Bush years when he put two wars and Medicare Part D on the credit card and left them off of the budget, then kicked the can down the road? Where were you when Republicans raised the debt ceiling six times during those years without so much as a whimper from your party? Party on Dude! Where were you when Dick Cheney was telling us that “Deficits don’t matter”?
You didn’t care because like the frog in boiling water, you didn’t notice. You bought into the fiction that simply lowering taxes would magically produce more tax revenue and by giving the rich more of their money they would reciprocate by producing more jobs. A page out of Ayn Rand.
The problem is, none of it was true. Ayn Rand wrote fiction, Chris. And bad fiction at that. Her characters were cardboard cutouts. Sociopaths that had no depth.
Bush’s tax cuts did not increase revenue. It did not cause the rich to run out and create jobs. Just the opposite. The rich took their new-found gains and invested it in the stock market. Suddenly Wall Street was flooded with cash and they had to invent new ways to invest. Bubbles were create in the housing and real estate markets as people were enticed to “buy” real estate with no money and the promise to pay it back later. Wall Street and their Banksters figured out a nifty way of covering their asses in the inevitable failure of these new homeowners to pay their mortgage — they packaged these “toxic debts” up into a new kind of financial instrument and created a “value for them to sell to other investors. It was like the casino betting against the investor.
When the housing market bottom dropped out, the speculators simply shifted to the next big thing: Oil. They ran the futures on oil up on just about every little blip they could imagine. They weren’t using real money, just their say-so. When the economy finally collapsed, the credit markets dried up and guess what — the price of oil dropped like a rock.
Now that the banks are lending again, the speculators are back. The price of crude is inflated on rumors and rumors of rumors. It has nothing to do with supply and demand — there is plenty of oil in reserve now. The oil companies have been saving up while the oil was cheap, waiting for the cost to be driven up again. (have you noticed that whenever the price of oil six months out goes up the price of gas at the pump immediately goes up?
I just wish you guys would wake up open you eyes and see what is really happening around you. Have you ever wondered how it is that you are struggling financially while the top 1 percent are enjoying record profits and income? The rich and the multi-national corporations are doing very well, thank you very much. Companies like Exxon who continue to increase their profits by fifty-something percent each year over the previous year?
Hello? Are you paying attention? Think about this for a moment. Your wages are going down every year. Sure, you might get a “raise” once in a while, but the buying power of that dollar has been dropping steadily since 1980. To make up for that, you put more things on the credit card, deferring that “cost” until later. You still have things so you don’t notice it so much until the debt starts catching up to you.
You start blaming the government. That big, bloated, over-spending, over-taxing government because you don’t have enough money to keep yourself in the lifestyle that you’d like to be in. But meanwhile, after almost a decade of tax cuts, and relaxed regulations, the rich are not only getting richer, but they are getting richer by much larger margins. They start becoming multi-national, with businesses all over the globe, houses all over the world, and tax shelters in places that are untouchable. Do you think they will care when the bottom finally falls out here in the US? Of course not — they can move over to their mansions in Brussels or somewhere else where they can continue to live. They will leave us holding the bag.
Meanwhile, you continue to buy into this dream of an Ayn Randian world that assumes everyone will play by the rules. News flash: people don’t play by the rules. Even when there aren’t rules, there are still some that are implied. The characters of Ayn Rand might have done alright, but they were one-dimensional fictional characters, not real live people with a tendency to connive.
Sorry, had to get to work…
Yes, Chris, you are. When you have almost 80 percent now telling Congress that they need to start raising taxes on the rich, while at the same time making surgical spending cuts, when you have about the same percentage telling Congress the idea of privatizing Medicare and Social Security is NOT what they want done, then you are in a distinct minority.
When you still cling to the idea that Obama either wasn’t born in the US, or that he isn’t a proper citizen, or that the birth certificate and certification are fake, or that Obama is a “socialist/communist/Nazi/criminal/mobster/(fill in blank)” you are definitely in the minority. There are more people who believe that aliens are regularly abducting people.
I don’t think you are going to find too much disagreement that we need to do something about government spending and getting the debt down. That is about the ONLY agreement there is. Where the rub comes from is the HOW.
Neither Social Security nor Medicare is “broken”. That is a myth. Social Security has been a plum that Wall Street has been eyeballing with greedy lust for thirty years. It has been THE most successful program in our history, and while there are some who think that it will “run out of money” in the next 75 years, the easy fix is to raise the taxable level from $106k to $250k and it will be funded forever.
“But why not let us invest our own Social Security in a private fund?”
What’s stopping you from doing that now? Take 6.2 percent of your income every payday and invest it. Let’s just hope that the Wall Street Casino doesn’t bust your bank. At least with the current system there will still be money there for you. (that is if you don’t elect weasels who will turn it over to Wall Street to gamble for you.)
“But it isn’t the government’s role to provide a safety net. Let the church or charity do it.”
If history is any judge, churches and charities weren’t all that during the bad times in this country. There was a reason why Social Security and later, Medicare were developed. It was because there wasn’t a church or charity safety net that took care of the old or the infirm. If there wasn’t family willing to step in, the old and infirm were simply turned out in the street to die — which created yet another burden on government and society.
Then there is the fact that a full one-third of Social Security payments are “survivor payments” and “disability payments”. Imagine you were a thirty-something guy who got injured to the point where you could no longer work. You have this nifty little “privatized” social security account with about ten years of investments in it. The account has just gone through one of those Wall Street downturns that wiped out about forty percent. Now you need that money to live on and pay ongoing medical bills. How fast do you think you are going to burn through that money before it is all gone?
What about your children? Say you get killed. Right now your survivors are entitled to regular monthly payments from Social Security. All of that would be gone if you privatized it.
Social Security Insurance. We seem to have gotten away from calling that lately — Insurance. That is what it is, an insurance policy. A low-cost insurance policy designed to keep you from eating out of a dumpster should anything go wrong. You pay into it to bet against anything happening to you. And when you get too old or feeble to work, it allows you to survive until such time you die of old age.
Why not let a private insurance company do that instead of the government?
Because of the profit aspect. A publicly-held private insurance company is only concerned about maximized profits, and it is against their interests to make payouts. Right now the administrative costs of Social Security is about three percent. That means 97 percent of the money taken in is paid out in benefits. Privatize this system, and that overhead goes up to about forty percent, where only sixty percent is paid out in benefits. If you expect to get the same meager amount that SSI pays out now with a private company, then instead of paying 6.2 percent of your income in premiums, expect to pay closer to 30 percent.
Why is this so hard for you to see? I know, it is Atlas Shrugged and the fairy tale that depicted. My favorite book when I was young was the Swiss Family Robinson. I used to dream that was a good way to live also. But then I grew up and realized it was all a fiction.
As you will.
Great response. Can’t dispute it with off-the-shelf WND and Canada Free Press stuff? Take some time, do some objective reading instead of the echo chamber stuff you tend to follow.
Okay, glad to. So I did.
