    Oh hell yeah, that would have been awesome 30+ years ago.

    I was thinking about the wood stove my folks installed when I was a kid. For a few years we went to the forest to collect wood, but at some point my parents decided to just purchase a log truck of lumber. It was placed in 3 stacks along the side road and we spent 2 months worth of evenings and weekends cutting, splitting, hauling and stacking that stuff. Good wood too, maple and alder. It was fun for the first day, then became quite the chore getting it done.

    This bad boy would have done that whole pile in about 30 minutes.

    I know, so much for building character through hard work!

    I gotta get me one of those. Put it on a PTO attachment & I’ll take it.

    When I was burning wood, I was splitting with a maul or/and a wedge. Oh well.

    It certainly would make the whole firewood gathering thing less of a chore.
