And then there’s Alan Keyes.

I’ve put this up a time or two, but every time I see it it has to come up again.

There is much truth in what he says. He is someone I could get behind for president as he has an unapologetic respect and devotion to this country and a belief in American exceptionalism not just as a parochially jingoistic exercise but as a concrete truth brought about by facts and achievement.

These are attributes are sorely lacking in the Usurper in the White House who has a venomous contempt for anyone espousing the tried and true values Americans have exhibited in order to make this country the pre-eminent country in the history of this ball of dust. He,as is typical of self anointed visionaries, feels that the rule of law is notional and that any rubric of constraint surely doesn’t apply to him after all there are trillions of dollars to steal from people who have legal earned it and redistribute it in a more politically correct way i.e. in order to create dependence on him and his like minded cabal for your daily existence. Once that happens he figure no one will dare cross him.

The Usurper believes in a zero-sum world where if one succeeds it is at the exploitation and to the detriment of someone else. He exploits the void of knowledge and sense of entitlement fostered by his allies in the media and academia in order to vilify the other in unseemly attacks based on a vile and subjugating ideology/religion. Make no mistake what he is practicing is a form of christian marxism i.e. liberation theology where the word of God is twisted to justify any depravity in the name of “social justice”, which is to equal justice as slavery is to freedom.

Societies enshrining the arbitrary notions promulgated by “social justice” are always and everywhere totalitarian and ruthless as they enslave not only those who are the target of their noxious notions but eventually those who originally benefited from this deplorable scheme of hypocrisy.

Alan Keyes doesn’t bullshit around, best as I’ve seen. No holding back there!

I had the honor of meeting and speaking with Alan Keyes back in the 1990s, when he spoke in Minneapolis (1996 I think). At the podeium he was the most spellbinding speaker I’ve ever heard – without teleprompter or notes. He can also speak equally well extemporaneously in one-on-one conversation. Remember that he was also deputy to Jeanne Kirkpatrick, so he has a thorough grounding in international rellations and diplomacy. Give him free rein and he’ll make us willing even to let Colonel West age a little more.We should have selected him years ago.

Complete agreement on all points! Alan Keyes would definitely get my vote if he runs.
