    Well, our “civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded (as the military).” [a.k.a the Transportation Security Administration, a.k.a. Obama Gestapo], DO have a few guns. And that’s not to mention the Dept. of EDUCATION SWAT teams! (with whom I may soon have an encounter)

    Oh, and if the EDUCATION department has its own SWAT teams along with the power to issue its own (“knock” OR “no knock”) warrants; then whose to say the Dept. of Energy won’t soon have their own, too (if they don’t already)? Or EPA. Or OSHA. Or USDA. Or the National Archives? (I hear that last one is badass)

    That entire idea has my jaw on my chest. Dept Of Education SWAT Team?!?!?! Busting into houses and killing people for late payment on education loans?!?!?! Sacred Excrement!

    Well, they haven’t killed anyone … yet. At least, not as far as I know. And the raid in CA wasn’t for nonpayment of loans … so they say; but it freaks me out nonetheless.

    And the original story that I saw on the UK Daily mail seems to have been scrubbed, but here’re some blogs on it.
