It would appear Lorinov isn’t the only one

That sees this dictatorial insanity.

To the American People…you are being duped. Really! You are being duped by a narcissistic, smoke- blowing, socialistic con man with only one thing in mind…to create chaos in order to give himself dictatorial powers to do whatever he wants. Super Congress? Nyet. Another name for the Politburo and another avenue to usurp our Constitution. Thinking he can up the debt limit on his own without Congressional Approval? Beliefs of a dictator not a President. Continue to violate the Rule of Law as these past 2 years have consistently shown. It must lead to the path of out of office.

I think that, perhaps especially as unconstitutional as this is, that there is great truth to this fearful thing. The thing they hadn’t counted on was those of us that love the idea of America, those places that haven’t surrendered their ability to fight another revolution, that “rifle behind every blade of grass”. The 10th Amendment is having a grand resurgence in the eyes of many as well. Perhaps that Russian that predicted the United States would break up into 4 or 5 zones was right. It’s a shame, but perhaps that is what it will take to repair this mess, and put it all back together? Alternatively, is this due to this “Council of Governors” shit that ObaMao is creating? To try and disperse the power of decision making further from the individual states so that they won’t come together and simply remove DC as the power base?

UPDATE: I’m going to have to throw this one in from Dr. Sellin, it enhances the concepts understanding.

We have insane and out-of-touch politicians holding the reins of power. Patriots must join together to take back America by whatever appropriate means or stand by and watch the lunatics drive the country off a cliff.

It is torches and pitchforks time.

The states have only themselves to blame. After all, what does it take to amend the Constitution? They screwed themselves when they approved the 17th.

Got to be a way to revoke that too.

    From Armand’s artilce

These threats of not paying Social Security are nothing but empty threats stated to make himself look like his way is the only saving grace. He is the savior and no one else understands what needs to be done. Not true. Social Security funds are not part of the budget but part of a trust fund.

This is not quite right. The only thing in the social security trust fund are special purpose bonds that by law are demand notes on the treasury. This is why they need funds out of the general fund to pay social security. There is no cash there. All receipts by law and SCOTUS edict must run through the general fund.

Right now, under his guidance, the government owns $1.6 trillion of the current debt. This is debt the government pays itself interest on that doesn’t need to be done. Under Ron Paul’s plan of wiping out this debt to ourselves frees up $1.6 trillion in debt ceiling

This debt held by the the Federal Reserve and whose expunging is advocated in more detail in this article. The article basically treats this as what we call an inter-company transaction which if you presented the financial statements of the United States would be eliminated as the Fed and the US Government should ,under generally accepted accounting rules, should be consolidated.

This would explain the below market interest rate the USG receives even as arms length creditors shun buying the Treasury issued junk.

As for the ratings cartel remember they get their imprimatur to operate from the US Government and are regulated as such. They would not dare downgrade US debt on the Obamessiah watch lest they run the risk of being beset by compliance and tax audits by a lawless and vindictive regime; unless of course this part of the Obaessiah strategy

It would not surprise me if the message of downgrade was expressly approved by the regime in order to create the crisis we are now seeing. They may have done this in order to stampede skittish republicans into excepting another bad deal. Just the fact that the original complaint was the lack of the debt ceiling rising was the reason for that potential downgrade is the message of someone who has no clue about the underlying finance or supposes economic illiteracy on the part of the intended audience. In other words since the regime displays both those traits that was a message that came out of the West Wing. Only later did we finally get the logical reason why a downgrade is possible that is the preferred policy of Obama and his party (unrestrained deficit spending) is the reason we face a sovereign debt downgrade. Of course this reality is drowned out by the already established meme of we are going to default and that the credit agencies are going to downgrade us unless we agree to further bury ourselves in debt.

But watch out for this 14th amendment bullshit that the NDSWP harpies and their psychotic chorus are clamoring for and Obama wistfully mused about at that La Raza rally. This is the real lynchpin to the malignant narcissist becoming a dictator.

These trolls clamor for this clearly illegal act even as one of the leading liberal lawyers in America smacks Geithner for being so stupid as to even suggest such a clearly false interpretation of the constitution. I know they won’t do it but the Party of the Spineless have to make it plainly clear that it he acts on this a complaint will be sworn out and he will be arrested for defalcation of public funds and securities fraud. Then impeach him on what is clearly a violation of the constitution. This isn’t a good faith misunderstanding on an ambiguously worded clause but an intentionally fallacious and fatuous assertion on a clearly stated principle.

As for the Sellin article it is clear the ruling class both republicans and democrats are bristling that we have caught on to their game. John McCain is an especially sorry case of a man who served his country well then sold it out once he got into a position of power. To bad he wasn’t defenestrated years ago for his involvement in the Keating 5 scandal. He is a turncoat, imperious jackass.

My question to Mr McCain and all those who believe in compromise with the Party of Theft and Nihilism… What is your compromise with these freaks? That we fly of the cliff at 50mph rather than 100mph.

In the senate the usual brain dead cunts and dicks in the republican party line up with the malicious troll from Nevada.

The letter itself is actually a bit cynical as Mitch McCockless’s plan was basically to give O Duce the power(notice I didn’t say authority as the constitution does not give congress the authority to delegate it’s explicit functions) to essentially raise the debt ceiling unilaterally for all intents and purposes.

    Just one more thing.

    From Dr Sellin’s fine article.

Our Constitution is now under assault by the creeping imposition of Sharia law orchestrated by government officials. There is no gray area. The Constitution and Sharia law are incompatible.

Secretary of the Army, John McHugh, is a fool, a useful idiot for a radical Islamic fifth column. He approved conscientious objector status for Muslim Private First Class Nasser Abdo.

PFC Nasser Abdo did not want to kill fellow Muslims in Afghanistan, but he appears quite willing to kill GIs at Fort Hood.

Both PFC Nasser Abdo and Secretary of the Army McHugh vindicate Fort Hood killer Major Nidal Hasan. He made identical claims and threatened that “adverse events” would occur if military officials did not accept Sharia law.

It is not just the shear incompatibility of the two ideas but you have a tendentious multicultural establishment that pushes the new world agenda. Here is a snippet from an interview between Hugh Hewitt and Mark Steyn in the difference in the categorization of the Norway and the foiled Ft Hood events.

HH: Mark Steyn, I want to switch now to terrorism, because this afternoon, a soldier was arrested who was said to have been plotting a new attack on Fort Hood. His name is Jason Abdo Nassar, and he’s quite clearly troubled. Now we, thank God, got him before he killed people. But the nut from Norway wreaked mayhem on everyone and was immediately branded as a Christian radical. Do you think that there will be any kind of similar assessment of this man’s motives as opposed to the Norwegian terrorist’s motives?

MS: No, I think what’s interesting is the urge to label this guy. You say Christian. I mean, as I understand it…

HH: He’s not, but that’s how they labeled him. Yeah.

MS: Yeah, he hasn’t attended church since he was a teenager. I mean, in what sense is he Christian? He’s not an observant Christian. If you look at the Muslim rituals Mohammed Atta performed before he went to work on September 11th, Mohammed Atta took his Islam seriously. This guy isn’t a serious Christian. He’s a devoted New York Times reader, and he’s an extremely well-read guy. I think here, I think the issue here is the urge to pass off someone who is very much a lone, crazy figure as somehow emblematic of the entire Islamo-skeptic movement in Europe. And I think that is the complete opposite of what the New York Times with every Muslim. All jihad is local to the mainstream media. You know, the fact that this guy has been caught outside Fort Hood, he’s got nothing to do with anything that might be going on in Yemen, or might be going on in Somalia, or might be going on in Waziristan. And it’s the complete opposite to the approach they took to this Norway guy.

HH: That is, thank you, you finally got it. All jihad is local, and all McVeigh-Norwegian nutter mass mayhem is part of the vast right wing conspiracy.

MS: Yeah, that’s right. And the idea, the urge, the urge to make this guy representative of broader trends, which the New York Times and CNN and all the rest of them leapt into with gusto, it’s the exact opposite of the approach they take with Islam. Either one is right, or the other is right. But there seems to be a certain sort of inconsistent approach to the thing.

The offshoot is that widely dispersed acts of, at best nominal Christians, are always attributed to some sort of world wide movement while a multitude of acts that are clearly linked to a graphically defined world ideology are dismissed as isolated incidents even when it is clear where their inspiration come from.

I’d love to comment, but I’ve already expressed my opinion (basically the only opinion I have left) on other threads and I don’t need to bore others with my pessimism.

I recently saw a special on the rise of the Third Reich on the History channel (I know! HISTORY …. on the History Channel?!?!?)

Anyway, I hadn’t seen it before and two things struck me:
    (1) the complacency of the German people that the rise of the NAZIs was just a slightly unusual version of “politics as usual” and nothing in their lives would really change — even among many German Jews this sentiment prevailed; and
    (2) the speed at which things really changed under Hitler. Germany went from a normal early-20th century European country to a complete totalitarian police state inside of three months. The point being that things here can continue as normal, continue as normal, continue as normal, and then …. BANG! — everything’s different practically overnight. There’s really no telling if or when the S will HTF here in America; but if it does, few will even realize it until the S is already a Jackson Pollock on the far wall. And no one is ever ready.

If you get a chance to sit and watch the History show on the Rise of the Third Reich, I would recommend it.

    It’s the normalcy bias Sams

When the Bolsheviks took over in Russia the population thought, to quote Pete Townsend,”meet the new boss, same as the old boss”. They never once thought that as bad as the Tsar was and as inept as the Provisional Government was that what the Bolshevik regime offered was orders of magnitude worse than anything they experienced under the most despotic of the Tsarist regime.

No one wants to believe that someone has the actual intent of dismantling the country and reshaping in conformance with some twisted vision. This especially true of a popularly elected leader as that speaks to the negligence(independents and “moderates”) or malfeasance (the “Democrat True believers)of those who put this gang of thieves in positions to unravel this country from the inside. Only now, as we face economic oblivion, are some starting to realize that the NDSWP has meant every depraved action they have taken. They want economic central control and no lie is too perverse or action too deranged in order to achieve as they have any instrument in the mass media which engages in Orwellian Newspeak that portrays fiscal incontinence as prudent and limiting the government to it’s legally mandated role as the height of lunacy.

We have always been at war with Eastasia.

  7. 07/31/2011 11:07

Sams, I think that’s the plan. To play it just exactly the way it worked in NAZI Germany. Their concepts are exactly the same, and history did show that it worked then. What the citizens of Deutschland didn’t have is other people who’d seen this happen and didn’t want it to recur, who had computers and the internet. And why else would der fuhrer want an internet “kill switch”, eh?

And FX, I do so love your input! I quite often feel inspired to write even more when I see your responses, because I know YOU will be able to prove with historical data what I see, in case someone doubts what I’ve observed and not completely documented. You are an absolutely priceless commodity!

“We have always been at war with Eastasia.”

What was the name of the “Bad Guy” (the object of the 2-minutes hate) in 1984? Goldberg? Goldstein? Whichever, that’s us — i.e., conservatives, Tea Partiers, people who still kinda like that whole “Liberty” thing. WE are the Jews of this particular iteration of NAZI-dom. (actual Jews and supporters of Israel are still included, of course)

    =========================================

Normalcy Bias. I just don’t get it. There’s nothing “normal” about it.

You know, I suffer from clinical depression. For 7 or 8 years it was pretty bad (understatement). But, before I started to try to get help I had to realize that there was something about ME, about the way my mind works (or fails to), that was ABnormal. No one likes to think of themselves this way; but when the evidence mounts, you can choose to accept what it tells you, or reject it.

After years of being put on every psychoactive drug known to man, I was finally put on the “right” one. I still have my issues, but it was as if I simply stopped being crazy once I started taking that medication.

Oddly, when I stopped being “crazy” (this was around 2006), it seemed to me that the rest of the world started (being crazy, that is). And no matter how much evidence piles up, they (these “crazy people”) will refuse to accept the reality that they are, in fact, nuts.

There is a “right” medication for what ails this country, too. It’s called liberty. It’s called Constitutionalism. Federalism. Limited Government. Private Property. Natural/God-Given Rights. Lockeanism (Locke-ism?).

But you can’t give this medication to those who refuse to take it; and especially to those who cannot see that there’s something abnormal going on. This seems to be the majority of Americans these days, and it’s no coincidence. It’s the media.

The media (and education) have done this. The media have told everyone that crazy is normal. That War is Peace, Freedom is Slavery, and Ignorance is Strength. Certain communists (who can say who they were?) managed to gain control of the media and higher education decades ago; and they put that control to good use. The enemy is not in Washington, D.C.. The enemy is in New York, and in the Ivy League. Until the enemy’s control of media and education is dismantled, there can be no victory.

We’ve made inroads via the internet and talk radio; but I fear it’s not enough. I also think that it has been these inroads that have pushed things to a head in this country. The Left thought it had all the time in the world to achieve their goals; but there has been a new, relatively sudden, backlash and an unleashing of actual truth among the populace. The Left didn’t anticipate this, and feels that it must ACT, quickly, to achieve Utopia-Hell before things like truth, honesty, decency, and honor spread too far.

They’re antsy, frustrated, and feel threatened. Plus, they’re ALREADY crazy. There’s just no telling what they will do, when, and how fast. They must take advantage of the current, artificial “Normalcy Bias” before it vanishes in a puff of smoke.

Whatever happens for ill will start in Washington, D.C. and in N.Y.C. and in the Ivy League. Whatever happens for good will NOT happen in Washington, D.C.. Not with people like Boehner, and McConnell, and Fred Upton, and others being the one’s on “our side”. These are people who, as I said above, who will not swallow the pill of liberty because they refuse to acknoledge that there’s something abnormal going on.

My pessimism about our future stems from three things: 1) the new urgency of the Left; 2) the length of time it takes to elect enough people who have their eyes open; and 3) the media is still in control of the current, artificial “Normalcy Bias” for most Americans.

There’s still a glimmer of hope to fix things without anarchy, chaos, the breakdown of social order, and/or war. I cling to that hope like a drowning man, but –

Time is short; The odds are against us; and The chips are down.

    CM,

And why else would der fuhrer want an internet “kill switch”, eh?

    Point very, VERY, well taken.

    Also,

FX, I do so love your input! I quite often feel inspired to write even more when I see your responses, because I know YOU will be able to prove with historical data what I see, in case someone doubts what I’ve observed and not completely documented. You are an absolutely priceless commodity!

I have to agree. Knowledge AND Intelligence are a rare combination. Not to disparage CM (and others — myself included); but FX, you do have knowledge of a great many things beyond my understanding, AND the intelligence to apply that knowledge.

I get new information at various places around the internet; but rarely do I actually LEARN anything. This is one of those places largely due to the comments of FX (again, not to disparage others). Keep on postin’.

    Sams says.

Normalcy Bias. I just don’t get it. There’s nothing “normal” about it.

    Here is a definition

” the phenomenon of disbelieving one’s situation when faced with grave and imminent danger and/or catastrophe. One tends to over focus on the actual phenomenon instead of taking evasive action and enters a state of paralysis.”

Take it for what it’s worth as history not so much repeats as it rhymes. We are assailed on all side by a predatory adversary that no one in the establishment who purports to be our ally will admit that what Obama and his minions has been done with malice and fore thought. I have for a long time maintained that Obama and his cabal rule this country like the proconsuls of an invading army. What his regime has done, first under the patina of legislative legitimacy and now under the subterfuge of rule by executive order is impose the will of an international cabal that has wished to take American down a few pegs for decade since we rose to be the world hegemon. They wish to use our goodwill and devotion to rule of law in order to subjugate us and harness our industriousness to there ends. These people suffer from the fatal conceit as they think such things can be coerced and directed. They are delusional fools.

Those in the main stream of American life who are not attuned to such derangements can not get their heads around some one purposefully killing off an affluent and civilized nation in order to implement what has here to fore been an abject failure.

Sams your point on the levers of media, education and academia as factor in this charade we now go through is right on the spot. It is they who promote the idea that the only way forward is 1 trillion dollar plus shortfalls ad infinitum even though we now stand at a 100% debt to GDP ratio. It is academia who promotes the fallacious notions that certain people in this country have a proprietary right to the fruits of my labor. It is the media who misrepresent the idea of shared sacrifice when what they really mean is that we in the private sector have to sacrifice by paying more in taxes so those who receive a government check do not have to share in the destruction that their benefactors have caused. This was the primary failure of the conservative movement in that we allowed what Gramsci called the “march through the institutions”. We caught on too late and now have our children propagandized by the deceitful and the profane.

Thanks for the kind words CM and Sams they are much appreciated but much thanks needs to be given to CM for finding these articles and writing observations that hit home. I’m just the color commentator on the “Game of the Week”.

Sams I enjoy you commentary as well as you bring up things, that in my haste, I should have thought about more thoroughly or documented a little better.

Damn it. Just as I say that I forgot to block quote the definition of “normalcy bias”.

I got the definition from here

    And verified it here.
