I am fucking baked on politics

I’m getting so tired of the bullshit, I’m going to try not to mention them. For at least a day or two, then I’ll be Jonesing and will be right back at it.

The one political thing I will mention, before I put up some gun stuff and some motorcycle stuff, is this direct violation of the 1st Amendment by those Godless communists in the ACLU in, of all places, North Carolina.

“The decision is troubling on many fronts,” Harvey wrote
in a blog post. “It is out of step with many other federal courts that have
considered the validity of public invocations, including the United States
Supreme Court. It ignores the religious heritage and history of our nation. But
more troubling is the impact of the court’s decision on prayer itself. … It
requires the government to censor private prayers and engage in comparative
theology.”

He concludes, “The Constitution prohibits the government from deciding which
religious words are acceptable and which are not, even if the goal is to make
people feel more comfortable.”

Read what led up to that. Even if YOU are an atheist, agnostic, Wiccan, whatever, the Constitution is pretty clear. You don’t like, don’t look. Don’t want to listen? Don’t go where it’s said. Got to be there for some reason? Suffer through it thinking they’re fools, or turn up your ipod earsets. The government can neither make you pray a certain way, nor may they forbid it. This is a direct violation of the Constitution, and must therefore be deleted.

Now for some gun stuff.

While the AR is a good system, and the 5.56 not a horrible round, there are what some consider better. Full honk .308, or 7.62×51, is a wonderfully powerful anti personnel round, but it’s not tremendously controllable in rapid fire like CQB. Nor is it cheap. Either of them, actually, and you practice more when it costs less and you’re paying for it. You want cheap and powerful enough? 7.62×39. You can use it up to, well, damn near anything in the lower 48 out to 100-150 yds for hunting, and it’s excellent against people you may have some serious disagreement with. AK or SKS, hmmm, decisions. An SKS is arguably more accurate, but you’ve only got that 10 rd magazine fixed on the bottom, and you’ve got to reload it with stripper clips from a pouch on your belt so frequently. Or,…do you? AHA! But, the magazine well won’t accept AK mags. No worries! Pretty cool, huh? TAPCO mags don’t cost much more than AK mags to start, and this is a good reason for beer with a friend that has wood working equipment in their garage! OR, you can just order your mags straight from Marcus when you buy your adapter for a really reasonable fee. Or you could go bonzo and build something handy, with a whole HELL of a lot more horsepower but less rounds, and a lot slower to function! Party! Or, to enhance your very own “fuglystick”, MWAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now let’s see what we’ve got for motorcycle stuff. I mentioned this before, and it was sort of a “If I was going to change my riding style” question. This one actually doesn’t look too much different, it looks kind of still comfortable! I ride kicked back and cruiser, not humped over grinder style. And anybody that knows anything about motorcycles knows the V-Max is GODAWFUL FAST! Other than the insane full race bikes you can put a license plate on, it is THE fastest thing you can buy if the V-Rod isn’t right at the same maybe stronger. This Duke isn’t much slower, and I think it’s far nicer. Mind you, I do truly love the baby I’ve got, and I’m not trading her in anytime soon. This isn’t me, but she’s much like mine. And to give you some idea about how she sings when you put it to her, Okay, good…night.
