First I will put up this heartwarming advertisement
Shame the site doesn’t show them making the rifles anymore. Although I imagine if you discussed it with them they just might.
Now let’s talk about what that relates to in today’s tirade. The ultimate in CYA behavior. The ultimate in you-fuck-it-up-you-bury-it-ness. Who this time? Why, the BATFE, who else? I find information such as this to be confusing. Why? Well, the fact is that it can’t be hidden. Everybody and their chicken knows about this. If they are so obviously desperate to conceal the truth, then it is de facto the admission of guilt. The confusion is whether to scream or laugh at their blatant stupidity.
Following a widely watched hearing conducted by the US House Government Oversight Committee July 25, 2011, William G. McMahon, (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)‘s deputy director of operations in the West, William D. Newell Special Agent in Charge (SAC) of the agency’s Phoenix office and David Voth, field supervisor who oversaw Operation Fast and Furious that allowed over 2,000 rifles to walk into the arms of Mexican Drug Cartels, were whisked away to the safety of ATF Headquarters fortress on New York Avenue in Washington, DC.
Many that viewed the hearing and most ATF agents in the field believe these men should have been arrested, or at the least fired, for their gross incompetence and outright violation of US Law.
Attorney General Eric Holder has fought the Congressional Committee at every turn and evidence has grown to implicate his involvement in Fast and Furious to a degree that the number of Congressmen calling for his resignation increases each day.
Holder should not resign. He should be arrested, and tried for treason. If he offers to turn state’s evidence against the real mastermind of this clusterfuck, he should be offered life with no parole as opposed to death. Or at least be allowed to decide which he’d rather have. No other options. The mastermind gets death.
This is another one that confuses, scream or laugh. It too drives one to one or the other.
Confronting Obama for once and for all, forcing him to own up to the lies and the phoniness that’s been the high mark of his presidency would be akin to trying to nail jelly to a White House wall. Any of the Republican candidates for presidency would wipe the floor with him in a one-on-one debate, but we somehow get the feeling the debates will never take place.
Missing credentials proving who or what he is notwithstanding, Obama is a phony through and through. By his very actions that have become more see-through over time, he shows he has no heart, no soul, no empathy for others.
Tickle your fancy, does that? Judi writes well, and I love it on those occasions when she posts over there. She can get pretty dark and bitter, which well befits the situation.
And then there’s this, which goes back to pt 2 of this post, the BATshitcrazyFE. That I just linked was the poll about what We The People, or at least those of us people that think of addressing these things, first heard about in this article.
Which leads over to the banning by the administration of the re-importation of around a million M-1 Garand rifles from South Korea. A “threat to public safety” they call it. Perchance to them and their ilk, but not to the public at large. But there is still a chance to reverse that one, however slim.
*SIGH* Some days you’re the harvester, some days you’re the grain.
