Perhaps Subotai does go on a bit,
But every morsel is to be savored. This article at The Rott is superb, having to do with the completely fucking UN Constitutional areas of this NDAA.
“If not here, where? If not now, when?” is undoubtedly one of the deepest thoughts ever. I’ll tell you what, I got goosebumps. When is this shit going to boil over? If this shit isn’t fixed this November, it may/must be then.
I’m truly praying for America to wake the fuck up, which they seem to be doing in mass numbers. Will the HONEST AMERICAN PEOPLE be able to overcome the guaranteed illegal behavior in rigging the votes to keep the globalist communists at bay? I have done what will need to be done if not before. I don’t want to do it again, but I will if I must. And I know personally many who will as well. None of us want to, most of us will, without hesitation.
The only thing this massive surge of corruption has done, besides making our economy the suck job it has been for the last 3 years and a bit, is to awaken Patriots. Would I like to see a world without war? Hell yes! Is there any possibility of that? Honest to God, God coming back will be the only way. As we do not know when that will be, we must stand up and return this nation to its original intent. Was that “Christian”? Well, yes to a degree. What it was was spiritual and righteous, not necessarily “Christian”. Although the design of Christianity falls closest to the parameters of a decent life.
This post I have linked is another where each piece builds upon the last, where understanding of the whole thing may only be reached through reading of the whole thing. I had several bits I’d thought of cut/pasting, but you can’t know what it ties to unless you read the piece before it, and you can’t properly appreciate it without the piece that comes next.

What I want is adherence to the Constitution. (A by-product of that is honoring oaths taken. But that is better addressed in the post below.) We can honestly debate all the issues of the day, the matters of greatest importance, to the people…and the nation at large, and still follow the parameters for doing same, when enacting some bill or bit of legislation.
But first and formost, use the level playing field provided by the founding fathers…the Constitution. If we don’t at the Federal level, how in the hell are we to expect the individual States, counties, townships, Cities, and hamlets, to follow suit.
We pride ourselves as being a nation which functions under “the rule of law”. This has been little more then fantasy for a number of years now (perhaps decades). Especially with the current administration and untold years with the legislative branch. And we are but one Justice away from SCOTUS becoming little more than a mouth piece.
I believe the progressives (and their fellow travelers) know this for a fact (that we are little more than lawless). The bloodshed will start in ernest when the majority of conservative/libertarian folks out there, resign themselves to this “truth” as well.
Keep your powder dry, I suspect the next 12-18 months are going to get nasty.
*SIGH* I do believe you’ve spoken truth. I had hoped to avoid that, but…
Make no mistake, I hope my prognosticating record stays at its current level of success. (That would be zero percent) But the evidence seems to point more and more in that direction. I do not want to see division and blood shed. I do not want to see the country torn apart as it hasn’t been in at least 150 years or so. But the only other option is to march along with the rest of the sheep. Get your food stamps, get your allotment of your escape-ist drug of choice, watch the gladiators…err football/baseball/basketball/hockey players on your video wall…and shut up.
And as much as I like a drink now and again, and baseball/football…I love freedom even more so. Then there is that pesky Constitution, and the oath I took so many times to defend and protect…some lines and or vows…well even this asshole can’t break.
Agreed.
Goes on a bit? Really? Bastich is as wordy as Ayn Rand, and to the same effect; I agree with both of them, but both of them put me to sleep halfway through.
I hope it doesn’t come to that as well, but Cabalas has a sale on .223 and I have as much 7.62x54R as I think I’ll ever need. 6.5×50 not so much, but the Arisaka shoots high anyway.
First thing I’d need is something that uses .223. What I need is a PILE more x39. Got bunches of x54R. I need more .308, and I’d like several others but if I got as much ammo as I’d like for several of the more unconventional calibers I have, damn that would get expensive! 6.5 Swede, 7 Mauser, 7.5 French, 7.65 Belgian, 8 Steyr, … Ah well, that’s why places like http://www.ammoseek.com exist.
With the Arisaka shooting high, that just means Kentucky windage. If it groups well, it would be worth figuring that little adjustment. OR, go to Brownells for a taller sight blank, then grab enough ammo to file it in.
