I just love how they describe him as a billionaire and philanthropist.
He is the definition of “vulture capitalist” as he made his money shorting currency and then spreading rumors to make his short bets pay off. He has destroyed many lives on purpose and has been convicted in Europe for his malfeasance.
Not to mention he has apparently benefited from insider dealing with the Obama administration He a malicious stock jobber who makes his money by having an in with government insiders. He is Warren Buffet with a Hungarian accent.
As for Willard he better stop with this pandering to the leftist trope. As the Emperor points out it is not a conservative position to give a person more fish but to make sure he knows how to fish. He needs to promote growth and self sufficiency. Like Newt said the other day we don’t need a safety net but trampoline so those who are down can propel themselves upward.
It is time to stop with the idea that somehow we have to subsidize those who have made poor choices with a middle class living. If there is any “public charity” at best it should be at subsistence level. Ideally the government(at all levels) should not be in the charity game as the money they confiscate tends to be inefficiently used(after all you have to pay all those overpaid union workers) not to mention not legally authorized(at least in the case of the Federal government). It is vote buying pure and simple and is one of the reasons the founders limited the objects of the national government to a precious few.

Apparently the Canadian press has noticed what the US press openly conceals
Well that didn’t work. We’ll try something simpler.
For your entertainment and edification I give you Ezra Lavant. In case you don’t know him he is the editor of the magazine that went to bat for Mark Steyn a couple years back when Steyn was pulled into the Canadian Human Rights Council star chamber for quoting a murderous Islamist sand nit accurately and in context.
I was going to go off into conceptual property ownership theory, and the higher price value of superior manufacturing, and so on, but there’s really no need after that. Well said.
