Did I put this up a couple of years ago? I don’t care, it needs to go up far more often.

I think your sense of time is altered.
I have this in my favorites and I think I probably got it from here. I vehemently disagree with Penn on some things(only God knows what Teller thinks) but those who are defending the 2nd amendment are dead on correct and those like that smarmy elite punk Roger Spelunkensplatt, or whatever the sanctimonious turds name is, are on the side of the criminal and the tyrant. They are exactly the people the 2nd amendment was written to protect us against. However since the law doesn’t seem deter such an arrogant and supercilious crank like that I guess the 2nd Amendment will have to go from parchment to lead.
I was reading this as I was writing the previous comment. Here is something rather profound from <a href=former liberal and award winning play-write Davis Mamet.
Go read the whole thing. It’s all second amendment goodness(with the exception of the agreement about outlawing machine guns). But other wise it is right on. And by all means answer the poll question. When I did 87% agreed with Mamet position on our ability to protect our own selves
How about another real juicy quote that echoes something I have often said:
The police aren’t crime preventers(other than whatever deterrence factor the marked squads provide). They are janitors who clean up the mess when they can’t get there in time. Oh and by the way, as I know I have cited previously here, the police do not have a legal duty to protect you.
In fact here are about half a dozen cases that make the same point you are on your own
And these don’t even get to the real purpose of the second amendment to protect ourselves from third world thugs like Obama.
I always thought that, even if the 1A does guarantee or recognize your right to say what you want, there were laws against knowingly falsifying information. Yeah, that 2A may well be called upon sooner than later.
Precisely! I love my people. They make so much sense!
