The government read Rand as well

03/03/2013

They read it to know how they are supposed to rule us, where we read it to see them coming with it. Upaces sent me this:

If you haven’t read Rand, I very strongly suggest that you do.

He doesn’t miss a step, does he!
I’m not concerned about anyone over say…..48-50+. They remember. It’s the younger ones even though we told all of the stories from our history that later they learn about in school. But! They schools don’t really educate them. They have “tests” that kids learn the facts for the tests but NOT the heart of the history.

I am so embarrassed to say this. I told my daughter ALL of the stories from the Civil War up through WWII. It didn’t sink in! It hurt me that she could ignore it. Is there some kind of cosmic blast or ??? that keeps that age group from retaining the memory of an honorable history as well as the dishonorable?

I have had my feelings hurt several times from my own child because I TAUGHT HER ALL THE HISTORY and how it made an impact on our family before her.

You may yet be surprized by what she did retain.

IF she does, she doesn’t talk about it. She did bring me a Great American Flag to fly outside my home when she went on vacation with her “husband-to-be.”

upaces88: I feel and sense what you are saying about your child. Lets hope the “to-be” is “not to-be” because he has changed her.

I, honestly, don’t know yet. I finally accepted that ALL we can do is teach, live the life as an example and hope that our children retain what we taught and lived.

We were talking about “The Soul” on another site. Everyone does have their own soul; and their own lessons to learn. For the most part, I have let go to allow her to live her life as she sees fit (not that I could have influence on her now LOL…she is set in her ways.)

    I will talk to ya’ll 2morrow.
