I’m sure you’ve heard of the misnamed 2nd Amendment Protection Bill?

Toomey-Manchin? Now, reading the title sounds exactly backwards from it’s intent. The demoncraps kept trying to throw in amendments to it to take our guns away. Shit, Reid even did a Freudian slip and called it “the gun confiscation bill” or something much like that. Feinenstein tried to crank in that ultra-control amendment that made the 1994 Clinton thing look like a tax free holiday at the gunshop.

Statement of Purpose:

To protect Second Amendment rights, ensure that all individuals who should be prohibited from buying a firearm are listed in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, and provide a responsible and consistent background check process.

It was defeated, or should I say it didn’t pass? Needed 60 votes, only got 54. That was too fucking close. We had a couple “blue dog” dems, they got a few RINOs. McPain being one of those. Aren’t you glad he didn’t get to be POTUS? I voted for Palin anyway, in the hopes the job would be too much and kill him about 2 years in. Anyway, I was sent the roll call of the votes by FX, let’s see how that went.

Right. Review those, and commit to memory any of them that may be applicable to your voting district. Now, why did Reid vote Nay? Some sort of rule where the Majority leader is required to vote against his/her party line vote. I don’t know how that works, but that’s the way it is. Collins (R-ME), Kirk (R-IL), McCain (R-AZ), Toomey (R-PA). Traitors. Remember that next election, if they may be in any way influenced by your vote. Baucus (D-MT), Begich (D-AK), Heitkamp (D-ND), Pryor (D-AR), and (for reasons explained above) Reid (D-NV). We know where Reid stands. As for the rest, these guys went against their party and for the nation. They are the  only reason this clusterfuck did not come to pass. If they are yours, remember to thank them.

It makes me feel good to see Obama so pissed and disappointed. I still remember his debate comment; “We won”. Yeah, you won a rigged election you s.o.b. and now the people are starting to be heard.

He can kiss me where it counts.
