This so screams desperation
Yo, Gov McAsslick, how can you look at yourself in the mirror? You know, I may be getting older, but I seem to remember there’s laws against that.
Something like, oh, this set for example.
Let us then look at this:
The expansion of suffrage to all sectors of the population is one of the United States’ most important political triumphs. Once the privilege of wealthy white men, the vote is now a basic right held as well by the poor and working classes, racial minorities, women and young adults. Today, all mentally competent adults have the right to vote with only one exception: convicted criminal offenders. In forty-six states and the District of Columbia, criminal disenfranchisement laws deny the vote to all convicted adults in prison. Thirty-two states also disenfranchise felons on parole; twenty-nine disenfranchise those on probation. And, due to laws that may be unique in the world, in fourteen states even ex-offenders who have fully served their sentences remain barred for life from voting.
Don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time.
Here’s the deal. If you were willing and able to commit a felony, WTF gives you the thought that you are properly able to vote in a matter which may affect the average citizen? Much less the average citizen allowing this to happen?
Do you in Virginia, one of the original 13, not think it is time to recall this individual? It doesn’t matter how dedicated a democrat you are, have you no pride? You would allow this?
This is just too stunning. Misdemeanor? Okay, not that much of a thing. Felon is a bit of another matter, yes? Get real, please. I realize that you are the party that allows multiple voting via no voter ID, but have you no limits in your depravity? Is there no point beyond which your human pride will allow you to go?
You do realize that what they push has never worked. Ever. It collapses under it’s own weight, and always returns to a form (at least) of capitalism. Always.
