You do know about The Donald and the 2A

11/10/2016

Man has plans! If he just removes the NFA34 and GCA68, and enforces the clause in the 10A about “you can do it if it’s not here, but if it is you can’t”, that would remove all the restrictive bullshit in all the states.

Read the article, and rejoice, ye who own guns. Here, have a clip or two:

Yesterday’s Five Fast Gun Reforms President Trump Will Sign Into Law focused on five gun law reforms that newly election President Donald Trump could implement shortly after taking office.

They included:

  • Ending Gun-Free Zones On Military Bases
  • National Concealed Carry Reciprocity
  • Legalizing Silencers
  • NICS Background Check Reform
  • Allow Importation of Collectable Historical Firearms

Those are not, however, the only gun law reforms that President Trump, a Republican-controlled Congress, and his newly formed Second Amendment Coalition may decide to tackle during his Presidency.

In addition to those four important shorter-term goals, there are other popular ideas for reform within the Second Amendment community that are implementable, but which may take a little more time to explain to the public and develop as a matter of political realities.

That’s only a piece, read the rest. 😀

There’s only one huge problem here. Unless there’s a way to preempt state law even more than the 2nd Amendment does, the states can still put a lot of restrictions on firearms.

I know, I live in California and we just got several new firearms and ammunition laws. Most of them will probably pass muster in the courts.

Can you imagine passing a background check EVERY time you buy ammo? The cost, bureaucracy and b.s. will be insane. They also removed the grandfather clause for magazines that hold more than 10 rounds. On January 1st anyone who hasn’t destroyed or gotten their big magazines out of state will be a criminal.

Also on January 1st, semi auto rifles utilizing bullet buttons will no longer be legal for sale. Only rifles that have to be disassembled for loading or have fixed magazines under 10 rounds (eg. M1 Garand) will be legal for sale. Gun stores can barely keep up with the demand and buyers are hoping that the state won’t later simply ban all the grandfathered rifles.

    HELP!

They were your neighbors that voted, bro. Leave. GTFO of there, and let it consume itself.
